FingerSCAN DecedentID is a fingerprinting application that was designed specifically to help coroners and medical examiners capture high quality fingerprint images from decedents along with demographic details to significantly improve their decedent identification and case file generation process.Some of the key functions provided by FingerSCAN DecedentID application include:
- Users can capture up to 10 slap and 10 rolled fingerprint images;- Users can enter demographic data;- The app automatically generates a Decedent fingerprint card that includes all demographic, agency and case number information, confirmation signature blocks and images of all fingerprints captured;- Users can easily share the record details, images (including photos) and card via email or secure FTP with their identification unit to aid in rapid identification of an unknown decedent;- Users can upload record details, images and card via USB connection to include in case file.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS (DO NOT BUY THIS APP UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING)- Android Lollipop or KitKat OS (Marshmallow will be supported in the future)- IB Watson Mini fingerprint scanner - USB Host OTG mini-USB adapter cable if your Android device does not have a standard USB 2.0/3.0 port- Compatible Android device (best used on tablets)
This app has been tested and runs successfully on the following tablets: Samsung Galaxy Tab A, ASUS Nexus, Google Nexus, ASUS MemoPad and LG V700.
The app may run on other tablets that are running the Lollipop or KitKat OS.
If you download the app onto a device that is not listed above and find that the app doesn't run on that device, simply request a refund.
